Agua: discurso higienista y práctica municipal (Mallorca, 1855-1936).

The article discusses the discourse of hygienists related to water distribution in Mallorca, Spain from 1855 to 1936, with a focus on the issue of drinking water. Subjects include the traditional model of water distribution in Mallorca at that time, the reform of water purification in the first half of the 20th century, and the improvement of public health after the modernization of water distribution. Particular focus is given to the policy carried out for the Second Spanish Republic in favor of water distribution from 1932 to 1934.
