Abstract

The article presents a study on autosomal recessive disorder of connective-tissue, Dermatosparaxis in White Dorper sheep which is characterized by skin fragility and hiperextensibility. It mentions that the disease was caused by mutation in the ADAM metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type 1 motif, 2 (ADAMTS2) gene. It also mentions that prominent cutaneous appendages and severe hemorrhagic focus in dermis region associated with mild neutrophilic infiltrate in the deep dermis.
