Abstract

The article focuses on the policy of India toward China, which has pursued steady engagement despite regime changes. It discusses potential changes in India's foreign policy as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), formed a government with absolute majority under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It says that Modi has to make a decision over the issue of border incursions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
