Abstract
- The article focuses on Chinese consumers that many Australian wine producers are targeting as a new market. Population and the potential for wine sales in China are discussed. It also points out the cultural differences and competition from other wine-producing countries which all barriers to be overcome by the industry. It emphasizes research on wine consumer behaviour in China, including the factors that influence the choice of Australian wines.
