Abstract

The article discusses a research conducted to examine the effect of vigna nakashimae (VN) extract in curing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in high-fat diet (HFD) fed mice. Topics include association of NAFLD with obesity which is accompanied by chronic inflammation and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, insulin and glucose tolerance tests performed to determine the effect of VN extract on (HFD) induced obesity, and effect of VN extraction hepatic steatosis in the HFD-fed mice.
