Abstract

The article offers information on a study to examine the relation between psychological detachment and its potential work- and non-work-related antecedents in employees in Japan while focusing on job demands, job control and workplace support. Topics discussed include workaholism as a personal characteristic, use of hierarchical multiple regression analyses for the study, and positive association of family or friend support with psychological detachment.
