Abstract

This paper aims to highlight the role of the teacher in distance education and more specifically their support for the autonomy of student learning. The survey was conducted initially on a theoretical level with the help of the theoretical scientists of education and then on an empirical level through interviews of students and Teachers - Consultants of the EKP 65, to reflect and explore the following views on the role of Professor - Consultant and especially the skills needed to support the learner towards autonomy in learning. The thesis focuses on the positions and views of teachers and students to understand how they really understand the concept of autonomy in learning and how it really applied through the program of distance teaching EAP.
