Abstract
- The article offers the author's insights regarding the history of Australian schools. The author discusses several topics which include his experience as a school student during the 1960s and 1970s, the way of teaching history which should be based on a student-centred investigative approach, and the seven myths of source work of American educator Keith Barton which was outlined by history teacher Carmel Fahey.
