Abstract

The article presents a study on the safety of fenbendazole in Chinese ring-necked pheasants (Phasianus colchicus). According to the authors, the study aimed to provide target animal safety data to support a label claim for fenbendazole in pheasants at 100 parts per million (ppm) in the feed for seven consecutive days. The results of the study indicate that fenbendazole has a relatively wide margin of safety in young pheasants.
