Abstract
- The article discusses a study of the effectiveness of a combination of chondroitinase ABC (CABC) and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMMSC) to repair spinal cord crush injury in adult male Sprague-Dawley rats. The researchers performed a culture of the BMMSC, immunofluorescence staining and glial fibrillary acidic protein-chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan double staining. They found that the damage zone and scar tissue were reduced after the application of CABC combined with BMMSC.
