Abstract

The author suggests sports massage as a way of recovery after workouts, especially for newbies. Among the benefits of sports massage are promotion of muscle growth and repair and injury prevention. She recommends getting the treatment once a week or once every two weeks. She also advises against availing the treatment for those who just had an injury.
