Abstract

The article discusses the U.S. appellate court case Lee v. Kim wherein the court held that a restaurant must litigate the claim filed by a patron injured in a fight. Several complaints filed by the patron against the restaurant are negligence, violation of the state's dram shop act and other intentional tort claims. Also mentioned are duty to take reasonable precautions, criminal acts of a third party, and the intensive facts required in negligence cases.
