Abstract: The article discusses furniture in the 16th-century Wilton House in Wiltshire, England, visited by members of the Furniture History Society (FHS) in September 2013. Topics addressed include the 8th Earl of Pembroke's collection of antique Greek and Roman statuary, a bronze Roman Senator's chair, and Kentian furniture. Also mentioned are furniture pieces that were reused or adapted in the house's many renovations, antique furniture in the private library, and the dining room's redesign in 1912.
