Abstract

The article presents a serologic report of dogs with H3N2 canine influenza virus (CIV) in Northeast China. The report found that 45 out of 224 canine sera and 166 of the 500 canine sera tested feral dogs and pet dogs were seropositive by nucleoprotein-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (NP-ELISA). The author comments that the data provided by this report is useful for small animal practitioners or public health policy makers to carry out measures of preventing the disease.
