Canine Lat1: Molecular Structure, Distribution and Its Expression in Cancer Samples.

The article discusses a research study which described the molecular structure, distribution and expression of canine L-type amino acid transporter (Lat1) in cancer samples. Results of the Northern blot analysis of Lat1 expression in the cerebellum and the real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis of Lat expression in the pancreas and testis are described. Observations on Lat1 expression in the tissues of thyroid cancer, melanoma and hemangiopericytoma are presented.
