Abstract

The article discusses the treatment of allergic dermatitis sheep scab, a disease of sheep, in Great Britain. Topics discussed include parasitic mite Psoroptes ovis as the cause of sheep scab, symptoms of the disease such as rubbing and scratching, and lesions, use of injectable treatments such as doramectin or moxidectin by organic farmers to treat affected animals.
