Abstract
- The author reflects on her experiences of working for the Greater Manchester Probation Trust and comments on the British government's Transforming Rehabilitation agenda. She cites the failure of the Transforming Rehabilitation agenda to provide details of how the proposed privatisation of probation services would result in reduced cost and recidivism. She also discusses the importance of the role of the reflective practitioner as representative of the justice system.
