Disaster Relief Intelligence Support.

The article discusses lessons and offers techniques used in the disaster relief for the Hurricane Sandy on October 29, 2012, deployed under the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) of the U.S. Marine Corps. Topics of discussion included were the use of open-source intelligence (OSint) and social media, intelligence oversight rules and aerial reconnaissance. Other topics were postoperation debriefs, role of Liaison Officers and joint intelligence preparation of the operating environment.
