Abstract
- The author focuses on the developments in Australian law due to the rulings of the High Court of Australia (HCA) which is the ultimate court of appeal in the country. It discusses how its operations are contributing to nation building. With reference to several court cases it mentions the legal principles, including the doctrine of precedent, ratio decidendi and obiter dictum, which have been affected by the elements of the judgments given by the HCA.
