Abstract: The article discusses a study regarding the benefits of virtualization and how it can help midsize companies to improve services, reduce costs, and simplify the information technology (IT) resources' management mechanism. The study used the IBM Power Systems servers. It mentions the advantage of Operational Excellence, which translates the increased of production flexibility and cost minimization.
