Abstract: The article discusses the results of a study that evaluated the chromium concentration in cattle feces using combinations of acid digestion and spectrophotometric quantification techniques. It noted an incomplete recovery of the fecal chromium with the use of digestion technique in phosphoric acid. Similar fecal chromium contents was indicated by the results of digestion techniques in nitric and perchloric acids and digestion in sulfuric and perchloric acids.
