Abstract

The article focuses on Congress codifying several disciplinary procedural rights for service members in the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). It mentions the military right against self-incrimination and compares to the protection against the civilian equivalent along with immunity for both laws including military, and civilian. It further mentions that the judiciary developments would enable the immunized testimony for service member in nonjudicial proceedings.
