A modern approach to build 3D sequence stratigraphic framework.

The article presents a case study which aims to document the implications of one modern approach of building 3D sequence stratigraphic framework. The example was taken from the Pliocene wave-dominated delta of the southern North Sea. It provides brief history and theoritical period of sequence stratigraphy. It also introduces the HorizonGube approach, a semiautomated method which was used to avoid cumbersome mapping of each seismic event in seismic survey.
