Abstract
- The article presents an analysis of the educational policy for deaf students in Sao Paolo, Brazil considering that such education has an impact on the lives of the said students. It also cites sign language as the constitutive language of deaf people and it tends to improve the performance of deaf students whenever it is accepted as an educational medium.
