Abstract

The article focuses on a study conducted by the authors to examine the strains of zoonosis Brucella suis through molecular typing. It mentions the collection of the sample of B. suis from China which were used in pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) fingerprinting and multiple-locus variable-number tandem-repeat analysis (MLVA) to understand their molecular characteristics. It further reveals the results where the PFGE analysis showed genetic relatedness among the Brucella species.
