Association of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) virus vaccine elicited immune response with productive and reproductive performance in crossbred cattle.

The article reports on a study in India which aimed to find the relationship between production and reproduction parameters of the crossbred cattle with food-and-mouth disease (FMD) virus vaccine elicited immune response. Methods used are explained regarding vaccination programme, reproductive status, and lactation stress, among others. Results are discussed indicating significant association between vaccine response and part milk yield in crossbred cattle. Recommendations are also presented.
