Abstract
- Highlights: [•] We identified the factors that give rise to greater or lesser adaptive capacity among households. [•] We examine different adaptation actions among farmers and its determinants. [•] Many indicators, while increasing the likelihood that one adaptation would be taken, also decreased the likelihood that another would be taken. [•] The results suggest that further attention to crop insurance may be warranted. [•] Caution is warranted in terms of the assumptions that we make about differential adaptive capacity.
