Abstract

The article reflects on Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's litigation strategy that determines sex discrimination as a consequence of detrimental effects of gender stereotypes that restricted both men and women from living their desired lives. She expatiates that the 1970s equal protection laws of gender stereotypes kept women out of market sphere and kept men out of domestic sphere unlawfully. Title VII of the U.S. of Civil Rights Act enlists penalties for gender nonconformity.
