Abstract

The article presents a case study of an adult female hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus) detected with injured, presumably from vehicular trauma. It states that clinical and radiographic examination under general anesthesia of hedgehog showed a lateral elbow luxation. Information on the usage of surgical approach with circumferential suture prostheses to stabilize the elbow is also presented.
