Abstract
- The author discusses different trends and terms he has heard in ecology press coverage. The author talks about energy policy being in the news with focus on biofuels and their use in modern times. Threats to natural habitats in Africa and South East Asia and the initiatives taken by the United Nations have also been in the news. The decline in farmland birds due to winter wheat is also mentioned.
