Cultivating Leadership and Responsibility in Children.

The article discusses service learning projects for pre-service teachers and students from prekindergarten to second grade, highlighting the impact of service learning on the development of leadership and social responsibility. The authors describe categories of service learning projects including gardening, endangered species, and pollution and recycling projects, and special attention is paid to family, environmental and community impacts of the projects.
