Kidney Transplantation Group of the Spanish Society of Nephrology.

The authors discuss the establishment of the Transplantation Working Group (SENTRA) of the Spanish Society of Nephrology (SEN) following the approval of the board of directors at its ordinary meeting on December 18, 2012. They outline the main purpose of its establishment to promote access to kidney transplantations to patients with advanced kidney disease and advance in the care of kidney transplanted patients. The four aspects that must be addressed by the working group are also enumerated.
