Abstract
- The article gives a day by day account of a three-day weekend trip which was a blend of civil war history and lighter entertainment covering Harpers Ferry a scenic town in West Virginia strategically important during the Civil War, Antietam National battlefield near Sharpsburg, Maryland and Monocacy National battlefield near Frederick, Maryland. The article further gives suggestions for alternative destinations of three-day Civil War history related weekend trips.
