Abstract
- The article describes the inventories of the personal papers, private archives, and family archives held at the Haus-, Hof- und Staatsarchiv (House, Court, and State Archives) in Vienna, Austria. The author briefly discusses the collection development and management strategies of the archives before providing details about individual collections. These include the papers of former Austrian foreign minister Alois Graf Lexa von Aehrenthal, of Austrian historian Heinrich Friedjung, and the private archives of Maximilian, Emperor of Mexico.
