Abstract
- The article offers information on the history and current status of the Spanish language online newspaper Diario Las Americas, published in the U.S. It states that the newspaper was founded in 1953 by Horacio Aguirre Baca and his brother Francisco and states that its current editorial director is Manuel Aguilera. It also mentions that the newspaper lagged behind in digital innovations and content offerings and states that its goal is to become a premier newspaper of South Florida.
