Abstract

The article presents a study on the flavonoid content, chromatographic profile, and antioxidant property of Bauhinia forficata subsp. pruinosa and Bauhinia variegata hydro-ethanolic leaf extracts. It states that the study used various procedures such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis, ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, and free radicals measurement. Results reveal that B. variegata show more antioxidant potential that can be credited to flavonoid predominance.
