Abstract

The article discusses the findings of a study to determine how inter- and intra-species interactions affect the nesting distribution of Eastern Prairie Population (EPP) Canada Geese. It notes several predictive factors that changed the spatial distribution of EPP Canada Geese on the western Hudson Bay including nesting habitat type, distance of the habitat from Hudson Bay, and Lesser Snow Goose nest density. The study shows a decline in Canada Geese population when Lesser Snow Geese increased.
