Abstract

The author reflects on the cause of homelessness and its solutions in Asheville, North Carolina. The author says that in 2012, there is an improvement in homelessness in Asheville due to the 10-year plan called Asheville Homeless Coalition. He states that housing is the solution for homelessness, wherein it provides stability to people who needs to address mental illnesses, physical health, and unemployment. He discusses the facts on healthcare cost for the homeless people.
