Abstract

The article focuses on the legal implications of Mexico's drug war. It provides information that the International Committee of the Red Cross and international tribunals has developed factors to determine the type of conflict. It informs that customary international law has added certain key issues prohibition attacks on civilians, survival of the civilian population, respect and protect the wounded, and protection for women and children.
