Abstract

The displacement should be converted into pulse signal in real-time thermal error compensation, and the pulse signal is inputted into the CNC system. In hard real-time RTX environment, the parallel port receives the feed back pulse signal sending out from the feed back device. By using pulse insertion operation, the thermal error compensation pulse signal is overlapped on the original feed back pulse signal, and then the overlapped pulse signal is inputted into the CNC system via common parallel port because of the parallel transmission characteristics of the parallel port.
