Abstract
- The article reports on the effect of putting the bulls out on the success of artificial insemination (AI). According to Mark and Denise Butson, they are having difficulties getting enough cows up for AI until they talked to former worker Lynsey Selcraig who suggested putting the bulls out. They reveal that after following Selcraig's suggestion, 46 cows were found to be ready to be inseminated compared with the previous day's 24. They add that the empty rate dropped from 12 percent to seven.
