Abstract
- The article reports on the memorial to the Terra Nova Expedition, 1910-1912, unveiled in Angus, Scotland. The 10-foot granite statue was made to honor the Scottish explorers who sailed to Antarctica, led by Captain Robert Scott. It was also meant to replace the Memorial Fountain to Scott and fellow explorer Edward Wilson built in 1919 and damaged by a car in 1979. According to Ivan Laird of Kirriemuir Landward East Community Council, they received funding and Aberdeen granite for the statue.
