Abstract

The article offers information on a study on effect of INS and GLP in the lipometabolism of bovine hepatocyte cells. It informs that reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to study expression of DGAT2 mRNA in neonatal calf hepatocyte where the expression of DGAT2 mRNA increased with increase of INS and reversed with GLP. The study concluded that DGAT2 mRNA cultured hepatocyte cells can be regulated by INS and GLP.
