Metastaic Embryonal Nephroma in a Domestic Chicken (Gallus Domesticus).

The article presents the study which examined the metastaic embryonal nephroma in a domestic chicken (Gallus domesticus). It defines a metastatic form of embryonal nephroma as one in which the kidney grows rapidly into a huge rounded/bosselated mass, distending the renal capsule and distorting the outline of the kidney. In the study, the carcass of a 9-month-old female Gramasree that was brought to the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Thrissur, India was used.
