Abstract
- The seals in Qin Dynasty serve both as a tool for national administration and as a means of people's communications. There is one type of seal with Chinese idioms carved on it, which is called idiom seal. It serves as a purpose of praying for happiness or of cultivating morality. By analyzing a collection of idiom seals, an exploration is made of the thoughts for the people in Qin Dynasty. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
