Abstract
- An interview with Cornel West, a U.S. professor and social critic, is presented. When asked about his views on having an African-American president, he commented that the election of U.S. President Barack Obama shows that racism is not an issue anymore as far as electoral politics is concerned. He expresses his views on the situation of the African-American poor and working class. He also talks about the need to address issues of poverty and employment.
