Abstract

The article discusses that one 15-minute chair massage per week for 10 such weeks tremendously improves the stress-related symptoms and anxiety among inpatient and outpatient nurses. The study shows the results that symptoms related to stress and anxiety has improved in the nurses who have enrolled in the study. It also suggests that the therapy can be incorporated in work hours in an inpatient psychiatric unit and an outpatient pain rehabilitation unit of an academic medical center.
