Abstract

The article discusses U.S. bond market updates. Compared to Treasury bonds, high-grade corporate bond provides less incremental yield. Based on the Bank of America Merrill Lynch index, corporate bonds that used to offer high yields are now yielding 5.6 percent. It also lists information on activities of investment grade bonds like Morgan Stanley and Dell Inc. and convertible bonds like Amgen Inc. and Medtronic Inc.
