Abstract
- The article presents responses from the Committee on Judicial Ethics of New York on written inquiries from the state's approximately 3,400 judges interpreting the Rules Governing Judicial Conduct and the Code of Judicial Conduct. It focuses on the possibility of the work schedules of officers to be factored into court proceedings to avoid overtime costs. It further highlights a couple of scenarios involving the issue along with the ruling and opinion of the committee.
