Abstract
- The article reports on the popularity of the proposed pedestrian lanes among New York City residents. The current city street scheme will be revised in April 2013 after a year of pressure from the Broadway community. It is noted that more pedestrian space will be provided by the new design and the bike lane will be slimmer with a three-foot buffer to be transferred to the west side of Broadway.
